This is the first video from a cruise on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor. The stops: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu – Esna – Luxor. This video is from Aswan.

Aswan is traditionally the southernmost part of navigable River Nile. South of the Aswan Dam is the large Lake Nasser. The city is the departing point for numerous cruise ships going down (north) the flow of the Nile to Aswan. This video contains scenes from the Aswan Dam, the Unfinished Obelisque, a ride on a traditional felucca, and the first impressions from a cruise ship.

Audio: “Araber Tanz” performed by Tim Sparks.
