Everything from Colombia
Colombia is a South American country bordered by Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, and Panama, with coasts on both the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Its geography includes the Andes Mountains, Amazon rainforest, Llanos plains, and fertile coffee-growing regions. Historically, Colombia was part of the Spanish Empire until independence in 1819, becoming part of Gran Colombia before forming its own republic.
Today, it has a population of about 52 million. The capital, Bogotá, lies high in the Andes and serves as the cultural, political, and educational hub. Other major cities include Medellín and Cartagena. Colombia is renowned for its biodiversity, coffee, music, and vibrant traditions, as well as for overcoming decades of internal conflict.
