South Korea is a country in East Asia. It constitutes the southern part of the Korean Peninsula and sharing a land border with North Korea. The country is the world’s fifth-largest exporter and eighth-largest importer. Its armed forces ranks as one of the world’s strongest and is the world’s third-largest standing army by military and paramilitary personnel.
