This is a video from the peaceful Ritan Park in Beijing, on an early morning visit along Tai Chi Chuan practitioners.
According to Wikipedia the park was originally home to the Temple of the Sun. It housed an altar from 1530, the late Ming Dynasty. The area around the Ritan temple is today a public park. The site features extensive gardens and a small lake. The Qinghui pavilion is on the highest point and offers a panoramic view of the park. Below the pavilion is a pond with rocks, a café, and lotus flowers. Many people visit the park in the morning to practice Tai Chi or other forms of physical or spiritual exercises.
Audio: Traditional folk music from China.
