This is a video from the Great Wall at Mutianyu. It is a restored section and very popular on a day trip from Beijing.
According to Wikipedia, Mutianyu is a section of the Great Wall of China located in Huairou District within the city limits of Beijing 70 kilometres northeast of the centre of the city. This section is one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall and used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. There are as many as twenty-two watchtowers on this particular section, a stretch of 2,250 metres.
It was first built in the mid-sixth century which makes it older than the other frequently visited section of the Great Wall, at Badaling. One should know that both sections are part of “The Great Wall”, number 438 on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Audio: Traditional folk music from China.
