This video is from Edfu, some 115 km north of Aswan and 100 km south of Luxor. It is the third video from a cruise on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor.
The stops: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu – Esna – Luxor.
The temple of the sun-god Horus was built between the third and first centuries BC. Horus usually comes in the shape of a falcon or a falcon-headed man. The video has also scenes from the horse-ride to and from the ships on the Nile.
