This is a video from Sintra. There are many palaces scattered around in the area, and one will have a hard time reaching them all.
Most tourists will do the same we did: Start at the National Palace in the town centre, take a bus (no 434) uphill to the Moorish castle and then board the same bus further uphill to the fantastic Pena Palace. “The Cultural Landscape of Sintra” is no. 723 on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Sintra is a popular day-excursion destination from Lisbon. We get there by train from the capital.
Audio: “Drops of H2O (The Filtered Water Treatment)” by J.Lang (ft. Airtone): . This track is a remix of “H2O Instrumental” by Airtone. Both tracks, original and remix are on a Creative Commons License.
