Czechia, also known as the Czech Republic, is a landlocked country in Central Europe bordered by Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Austria. Its geography features mountains like the Krkonoše, rolling highlands, and fertile plains in Moravia. Historically, the region was the Kingdom of Bohemia, later part of the Habsburg Monarchy, and became Czechoslovakia in 1918. After the peaceful split of Czechoslovakia in 1993, Czechia became independent.

Today, it has a population of about 10.7 million. The capital, Prague, is one of Europe’s most visited cities. It is celebrated for its Gothic, baroque, and art nouveau architecture, as well as the historic Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Czechia is a parliamentary republic, and member of the European Union. It is known for its beer brewing tradition, cultural heritage, and economic stability.
