Everything from Nepal

Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia, nestled in the Himalayas between India and China. It contains eight of the world’s fourteen highest peaks, including Mount Everest. The population is approximately 30 million. The capital is Kathmandu, a historic city in a valley filled with temples and palaces. Nepal is the birthplace of Buddha and was the world’s only Hindu kingdom until 2008 when it became a federal democratic republic after a decade-long civil war.

Its economy is heavily reliant on agriculture, remittances, and tourism, particularly trekking and mountaineering. Nepal is known for its diverse ethnic groups, rich Hindu and Buddhist heritage, and stunning mountain scenery that attracts adventurers from around the globe.
