Coast of Jæren
24 videos, 2 hours and 17 minutes
The coastline of Jæren in southwestern Norway from Tungenes in the north to Ogna in the south is about 100 km long. It consists of long beaches with sand, pebbles and rocks. It is possible to hike in the scenic surroundings along almost the entire stretch. In this playlist, I have compiled a series of films from my own hikes. They are sorted in a north to south order.

Lysefjorden
7 videos, 24 minutes
The Lysefjord in southwestern Norway is a perfect example of a Norwegian fjord: Steep mountains, rough scenery, spectacular views, a lot of weather. It ought to be on UNESCO’s World Heritage List along with two other famous West Norwegian fjords, Nærøyfjord and Geirangerfjord. The Lysefjord also serves as a superb hiking ground for numerous trips.
The Stavanger Trekking Association has marked 140 km of paths and produced a map of 10 daytrips “Around the Lysefjord”. Each of my videos have an introduction, which includes the Association’s map. It shows the approximate route filmed and photographed.
My videos are the results of several visits over the years and the numbering differs from that of the official list.
Music is by the Norwegian classical composers Edvard Grieg and Christian Sinding. Sit back and enjoy for almost 25 minutes.
